DALLAS – Breanna “Bri” Nguyen is usually behind a camera ensuring everything runs smoothly on set.

“It’s a personal satisfaction,” Nguyen explains her work. “It brings me a lot of joy to know that I’m one of the reasons why a story was developed, went through preproduction, went through all these phases and hurdles and finally came out looking beautiful.”

Hollie Tran soars to new heights for diversity

DALLAS – Flying a plane is not just a job but a passion for 24-year-old commercial pilot Hollie Tran. As she takes the skies, she must chant, “don’t think, just do” to maintain a calm composure.

“Pitch up or down to control speed, increase and decrease power to change altitude, pull the throttle to idle, level off and flare,” Tran said in a nutshell.

Matt Macveigh is an extraordinary educator

DALLAS – Matt Macveigh loves helping his community.
“The other day, we had a fundraiser,” Macveigh enthusiastically shares.

“We were trying to collect money for carnival rides, we needed a cotton candy machine, we’re doing the throw the ball, and you knock the cups over-- really just trying to raise money from anywhere we could!” Macveigh speaks while reenacting the series of activities with his hands.

His movements stop and he dramatically pauses to ask, “And you know what?”

“I think we raised a fair amount,” Macveigh answers with a neutral expression, but a rumble from his body gives away the joke.
